Also trying to reduce body fat at the moment as bf% is through the roof. So I promised myself that I wasn't  gonna add anything to the game. I would only focus on improving and fixing bugs, but yesterday I had this idea to make the world a living entity. Now if you cut trees they will grow back(in couple of days) unless you decided to completely remove the tree stump. Fruits will also grow back as time goes by. After release the game I will build upon the system to show the world aging. Animals reducing, zombies becoming more violent, cars and objects deteriorating etc. Can't wait to launch the game in early access by the end of this month(hopefully)

Whether you're building back up your mileage, adding in more speed or both, the first few weeks of base building are sometimes the hardest both physically and mentally. As you build back up not only are you experiencing the expected process of muscles breaking down and then repairing to get stronger, your body is also making more capillary beds and mitochondria. Don't forget your heart is also working harder and thus getting stronger during this period. Due to all this, it's very common for runners to need more rest/sleep and to have a significant increase in appetite. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! Get more sleep and eat healthy foods until you feel satisfied. (Okay, at least mostly healthy!) If you're eating mostly plant-based it's hard to overeat. If you're eating junk food you can still consume more calories than you are burning (for most of us anyway), not to mention you are robbing yourself of important nutrients. With that said, our bodies may still do weird things the first couple of weeks as they adapt, which is why I wouldn't recommend paying attention to the scale during this time. (I actually never look at a scale.) After a couple of weeks you should notice your appetite stabilize and you may feel like your energy is increasing again, as all the adaptions you've made mean you can run more efficiently. Lastly, DO NOT forget to put as much focus in training your mind as you do your body. Went for my first ride of the year. I got cut off by a car, hit the curb and went over the handle bars. {1.5 mi running} I needed a run so badly and I am SO grateful it was here for me. I’m going to be sharing more of my meals for the rest of this week. I’m not following any specific diet or meal plan right now but it will help me stay accountable and be a bit of a food diary for me. I had a terrible day today and we ended up out to dinner because our dishwasher is broken and I’m just 🙅🏼‍♀️ to hand-washing dishes after the day I’ve had. As I was telling (venting to) my husband about my day, I was just shoving tortilla chips into my mouth. Whoa there, killer 🙄 
Anyway, I’m proud of myself for keeping my commitment and running even after dinner. .5 mi up/

At mid-day it is very quiet with minimal people around. This is my favorite part of the route. I can stop, breathe and let my mind wander for a moment. Therapeutic and relaxing. I decided since the weather was insanely nice for January  and I want to run a strong race at the Frostbite 4 in a few weeks, might as well see if my legs remember how to turn over. Success!! I ran in the half marathon, originally my intention was to run the full but my training has really fallen off a cliff the last 6months.

This time last year I was probably the fittest I’ve ever been. And now I’m not the unfittest- I ran the half in 2:16 - but I have managed to put on 10kg so I am feeling comparatively heavy and unfit.

I have a pretty big exam coming up in June2019 and the after that I have exactly 16 weeks to train for Chicago so my goal until June is to work on base building (and weight loss) then we’ll go from there.
