FVG - Mountains are Calling 🏔️ . YouTube:
Who's ready for summer? I definitely am. It was July, I spend an entire day chilling with my buddy @bennettfilm around Cinque Torri, in the Dolomites. It was foggy and rainy, and the mountains were not visible for most of the day. But suddenly, while we were probably drinking some coffee in the hut, it cleared up for a couple minutes. My tripod was already set in the field, so I only had to go down and shoot! Vertical panorama + focus stacking.
[Swipe to see the full image]. It's been quite hard to find something different than the average pics from Uttakleiv Beach, Lofoten Islands. And I'm not sure I made it. The location has a lot to offer, from the famous "Avocado Eggs" to those spherical boulders. I preferred to play with the waves' flow. As you may know, I'm not an expert seascaper (99 percent of my portfolio is from mountains) but it's been a challenge I wanted to take part. Hope you enjoy!
[Swipe for the full image] This shot was taken during my last sunset after 3 amazing weeks in Lofoten Islands, Norway 🇳🇴 I don't think I need to say that I got completely soaked to frame this one 🤣 Special thanks to @hattvikalodge for the amazing warm cabins where I rested during my stay 🏘️
Every time I drove the road where I could see this mountain I stopped to frame some pics. I think I have hundreds of shots (very similar one to each other 😂) of it. I don't know why, I was just blown away by the texture of snow on the top. When I got home, I realized that the images were not giving the same feeling I felt while shooting, but by cropping a lot (I think this might be around 1000mm if not cropped) those little textures showed up again. Hope you like it :)
While I'm spending some days relaxing and swimming in Egypt, I'm taking a look at the pics I shot during my Lofoten Trip back in February. This is what @danielkordan called "Dinosaur Eggs" and basically it's ice that breaks on some rocks while getting lower due to the tide. Hope you enjoy!
Another image from Lofoten! The moody weather together with the amazing colour of sea created quite a cool contrast! Hope you enjoy :)
Today I'm sharing a detail I shot during a beautiful morning in Lofoten Islands. Light had just made its way through the clouds and created some awesome atmospheres around some mountains in the distance. Hope you enjoy!
Can't wait to be back at this incredible place in a couple days ❤️ Have you ever visited Dolomites? If yes, tell me where! 🏔️ . (p.s. per chi fosse interessato c'è un posto rimasto per il ws di questo weekend, DM per info!)
I know you're all waiting for other pics from Lofoten Islands.. 🇳🇴 But I didn't even have time to look at them 😂 It's gonna take me some more days, in the meantime here's an incredible display of light in the Austrian Alps!
A moody (rainy 😂) afternoon in one of the coolest locations in Lofoten Islands! I'm not an expert about seascapes, as I'm mostly focused on mountain shots, but trying to catch the best flow has been a pretty cool task! . After getting totally wet to frame this shot, I came back to @hattvikalodge to warm up and dry my clothes ❤️
You Probably remember another shot from myself with this exact same composition but with different conditions... Well, @giovannini jonathan and myself came to this amazing stream two times and I couldn't compose anything different than this one, cause I liked it so much 🤣 Hope you enjoy this blue moody version as well ✌🏻
After a long rainy day spent driving around Lofoten Islands in search of some moody details, I'm relaxing in my cozy cabin at @hattvikalodge and looking back at some shots I took in these first two weeks. The mountain pictured here is definitely my favourite in the whole Islands. Its incredible shape is recognizable from any direction and standing in front of this peak, walking on a thin layer of ice with some colorful sunset clouds in the sky has been one of the best moments so far. Hope you enjoy! ❤️
Stormy Light on Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Italian Dolomites ⛰️
On my first night in Lofoten Islands I've been incredibly lucky to see some amazing northern lights. We weren't really expecting them, cause the weather forecast was quite bad for the evening, but then @danielkordan knocked on the door of my hotel room and said "Hey, there are northern lights!". So we drove to Haukland beach. It was my first time seeing northern lights and they didn't disappoint. Incredible lights dancing all around the sky 🤩 I didn't take many shots, I was too excited to be there actually. But here's one of the best ones I got during the shoot 📷
I'll never forget the moody landscapes of Faroe Islands. After shooting the pic I uploaded a few days ago, we walked down at the end of the lake, where a waterfall flows into the ocean. . If you look closer at the panoramic shot of Sorvagsatn, you may recognize the sea stack in the back of this image :-) . #visitfaroeislands #atlanticairways
When I looked at these huge cliffs falling into the ocean in Sorvagsatn, Faroe Islands, I was really stunned by such an incredible scenary. Swipe for the full image!
